I’ve been fortunate to work with Matt Dionne in several different roles during my time at Constant Contact, and every experience has reinforced what an exceptional professional he is. I worked with Matt at Constant Contact for over 12 years. We were in the same onboarding class together. Throughout the years I’ve had the privilege to work with him in different capacities (as a peer and as his manager).

There is nobody I can recall who cares for his craft and his customers as much as Matt. He’s pragmatic in his approach and consistent in his messaging. What I appreciate about Matt is his candor and drive to “do the right thing.”

I’ve had the pleasure of working with Matt for many years. Although we were on different teams, our work frequently crossed paths, and I’ve always valued him as a technical partner.

For our Landing Page product and email content blocks, my team owned the backend content model while Matt owned the HTML document format. We spent countless hours whiteboarding, brainstorming architecture, and working through the integration between the two—particularly how the frontend and backend would work together and how variables would be resolved at render time. Matt consistently brought thoughtful ideas and strong technical judgment to these discussions, always keeping the customer experience in mind.

What I appreciated most about working with Matt was that he never looked at a problem from just a technical perspective. He consistently thought about the product, the customer, the long-term implications of our decisions, and how different pieces would come together across teams.
